I hate how this is set up & just want to be able to click an icon, load the launcher(s), and start the game. I can't create a desktop shortcut through the Epic Games Launcher like I can with everything else I've installed. It's like Mass Effect in the Epic Games Launcher is in a perpetually uninstalled state through Epic only (see picture #2). Instead of having a desktop icon that simply launches the game, I'm now forced to load the EA app & click "Play." A progress bar opens (and stays open - see picture #1), and focus then shifts over to the Epic Games Launcher, where I then have to click "Library" and "Favorites" (I've added it so I won't have to scroll all the way down to where Mass Effect is located every time) then click "Install" in order to launch the game. I didn't know I'd have to install an entirely separate launcher to run the game, but honestly I wouldn't really mind if the following didn't happen. When I first clicked "Install" in the Epic Games Launcher, it installed the EA app and I was forced to create a new account. I purchased Mass Effect: Legendary Edition through Epic on. ![]()
